Comedy Musical NUNSENSE Revived at PJ Live Arts and the Performing Arts Centre of Penang

By popular demand, Gardner & Wife Theatre brings back NUNSENSE - the comedy musical which has broken virtually all Off-Broadway records! Originally produced in the US in 1985, it's had over 5,000 productions worldwide and been performed in more than 20 different languages - and it's still playing now!
Directed by Richard Harding Gardner, with musical direction by Llew Marsh and choreography by Joseph Gonzales, this revival will feature the talents of veteran and new talents of the local theatre scene in the roles of the comical nuns including Shanthini Venugopal, Elvira Arul, Junji Delfino, Nicole-Anne Thomas & Teresa Goh.
The zany Little Sisters of Balakong are kicking up their heels and lifting their voices! These fictional Sisters host a fundraiser after they discover their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the Sisters. To help cover the burial costs, the surviving Sisters take over the Shear Madness hairdressing salon and host a lively variety show filled with a huge dose of humour and more than 25 original songs.
It'll be played at PJ Live Arts @ Jaya One and The Performing Arts of Penang @ Straits Quay this July/ August!
