Good Theater Presents LOVE LOSS AND WHAT I WORE

Good Theater presents the Maine premiere of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit off-Broadway comedy event, Love Loss and What I Wore, directed by Steve Underwood, featuring a rotating cast of Portland's favorite actresses. Love Loss and What I Wore plays January 20-March 6 at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland where Good Theater is the theater in residence. Love Loss and What I Wore will play in repertory with Good Theater's production of Shear Madness. While Shear Madness is offering six performances per week, Love Loss and What I Wore will play four performances per week (Saturdays at 12:30, Sundays at 5:00, Mondays at 7:00 and Tuesdays at 7:00). Tickets for all performances are $22.

Love Loss and What I Wore features four different casts of actresses as well as special guest stars.

Cast One: Hannah Daly, Jeanne Handy, Lynne McGhee, Amy Roche and Casey Turner January 20-23 - January 27-30.

Cast Two: Cathy Counts, Kim Gordon, Meredith Lamothe, Allison McCall and Jen Means February 3 - 6 and February 17 - 20.

Cast Three: The Women of Mad Horse Theatre - Shannon Campbell, Janice Gardner, Marie Stewart Harmon, Christine Louise Marshall, Allison McCall February 10-13

Cast Four: Janice Gardner, Erica Murphy , Amanda Painter, Karmo Sanders, and Marjolaine Whittlesey February 24-27,, March 3-6.

Love Loss and What I Wore is based on the 1995 book by Ilene Beckerman. The original off-Broadway production won the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience in 2010. This production ran for more than 1,000 performances making it one of the longest running off-Broadway shows in history.

Good Theater is hoping to chase off the winter blues by offering ten performances each week. Patrons can enjoy a Good Theater show seven days a week and on Saturdays and Sundays it is possible to see both shows on the same day!
