Freeport Players Present Ladies of Flame, 2/3
The "Ladies of Flame" concert two years ago led to the creation of the First Friday series. They're back at last with a concert of jazz standards and pop favorites. Featuring Radio starlets Elizabeth Guffey, Johannah DeGrandpre, Janie Downey, and Lisa Bossi, backed by David Watts on piano.
Freeport Community Services' First Friday series is organized by Players Maryellen Carew and Sam Hunneman (MASISTA) and features talented performers you may have seen in Freeport Players' shows. For just $15 you get a delicious home-cooked meal, a one-hour concert by local musicians, and a chance to meet new people as we all come together for these community events. The January dinner concert sold out, and reservations are now open for the February 3rd concert.
The show will be Friday, February 3 at the Freeport Community Center, Depot Street. Tickets are $15, reservations required. The concert starts at 6pm, dinner served at 7pm
Call Kim at 865-3985 by the Tuesday before each concert to make reservations.
