For the first time ever, Middleton Players Theatre will be joining forces with Friends of the Middleton Performing Arts Center and The Middleton Community Orchestra to present a lavish in-concert production of what may be the greatest score in the Rodger’s and Hammerstein collection.

Known as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s favorite of all their collaborations, Carousel tells the beautiful and heartwrenching story of a young woman who falls in love with a roustabout carnival barker. Based on Molnar’s Liliom and set against the backdrop of a New England coastal village at the turn of the 20th century, Carousel features some of
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most favored and beloved songs such as “If I Loved You,” “June Is Busting Out All Over,” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. Staging 50+ voices backed by 60 orchestra members will create a performance you will never forget!
