Guillaume Clayssen and Aurélia Arto have created an impressive spectacle around texts by Fernando Pessoa and find the key to the theatricality of one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. When he was writing under his real name, Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa invented imaginary poets, "heteronym" names, which were all different ways to write and see the world. Instead of wanting to give artificial coherence to his person, the poet is allowed to live in him and in his writing all who drove it. During her studies of philosophy at the Sorbonne, Director Guillaume Clayssen view by chance "The book of the intranquilite" by Fernando Pessoa. He managed ever more away from this strange reading calling into question all certainties. But the idea of staging Pessoa him would not come to mind if the actress Aurélia Arto did him not a day revealed very strong attachment that she had also to this poet. Because for her, as for him, the reading of his texts was a shock. Fernando Pessoa, born in 1888 in Lisbon was critical, poet and polemicist. His mystical verse and his poetic prose were the main agents of the advent of modernism in the Portugal.
