Having performed with some of popular music’s biggest names, including Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and U2, the SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR has won numerous awards for their inspiring recordings and colorful live performances. Dancing together in their colorful traditional costumes, the 52-member choir offers both vocal – and visual – entertainment. SWG mixes African gospel, traditional hymns, Jamaican reggae, American pop, and spiritually-themed secular songs in an uplifting all-ages show that is a powerful expression of the joyous nature of the human spirit.
