Derby Dinner Playhouse Presents THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY

Derby Dinner Playhouse will open their 2018-2019 Children's Musical Theatre Series with THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY on October 6, 2018 as part of their Children's Musical Theatre Series. Stanley Lambchop is an ordinary ten-year-old, until the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls right on top of him! The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat! Filled with infectious songs and non-stop adventure, Stanley - the ultimate exchange student - scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond, all in an effort to become a three-dimensional boy once more.

This production is a musical adaptation based on the popular children's book, "Flat Stanley", written by Jeff Brown. The book for THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY was written by Timothy Allen McDonald, with music and lyrics by Timothy Allen McDonald, David Weinstein, Jonathan K. Waller and Stephen Gabriel.

THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY is under the direction of Matthew Brennan. The cast will include Lem Jackson as Flat Stanley, Cary Wiger, Shaquille Towns, Mollie Murk and Katelyn Webb.

All public performances of THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY feature a kid friendly menu and are one hour in length. This production is most suitable for ages 3 - 12.
