Six strangers—four men and two women—stand in line outside an auditorium, awaiting the presentation of a lecture entitled, “The Meaning of Life.” During their wait, they become acquainted, share their life stories, and witness a fistfight, a budding romance, a debate, another fistfight, a shocking crime, and what can only be called an honest-to-God “miracle".
