Different Drum is not your standard tribute — it’s part cabaret, part concert, part cheeky cocktail hour, all served up à la carte in the newly renovated Theatre 2 at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Accompanied by musical director Wayne Abravanel, Francesca brings a signature blend of warmth, wit, and vocal brilliance.

Francesca Amari is a chameleon cabaret star with a voice as big as the desert sky and a sense of humor to match. From Birdland (NYC) to Feinstein’s LA to stages across Palm Springs, she’s known for her storytelling charm and vocal chops. A 2023 Desert Theatre League Award winner, she serves up classic songs with just the right twist.
