Wicked Lit Announces Playwright Book Signing And Reading Image

Unbound Productions is pleased to announce their first event for 2019: a book signing and author reading event at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA (3512 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, California 91505)! The free event will be an opportunity for fans of the popular immersive theatre events to hear five veteran Wicked Lit playwrights talk about their adaptation process, have their books signed, and also hear favorite sections of select plays performed LIVE by the playwrights themselves.

Dubbed "One of the reasons Halloween is better in LA," by Timeout Los Angeles; "People are dying to get in," by LA Times; and "Site-specific theatre at it's best," by Culture Spot LA, Wicked Lit is a multi-award-winning immersive theatre event adapted from classic literature; the fall production that has taken place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery (Altadena, CA) since 2010 and and sold out every ticket for every performance since 2013. Details at wickedlit.org.

The Book Signing and Playwright Reading event will feature Jonathan Josephson (adaptor of Las Lloronas, The New Catacomb, and others), Paul Millet (adaptor of The Cask of Amontillado, The Shadowy Third, and others), Susannah Myrvold (adaptor of The Ebony Frame), Trey Nichols (adaptor of From Beyond), and Jeff G. Rack (adaptor of The Monkey's Paw, The Doll, and others). The event will be moderated moderated by Steve Biodrowski of the popular horror-themed website Hollywood Gothique.
