WELL-STRUNG Returns For One Night Only, 1/21

WELL-STRUNG Returns For One Night Only, 1/21 ImageThe Los Angeles LGBT Center has announced a special one-night-only return of the internationally acclaimed singing string quartet Well-Strung. The four performers specialize in pairing universally recognized classical pieces while singing pop music hits by the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and others. Well-Strung will perform at the Renberg Theatre for one show only on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 7pm.

Well-Strung features first violinist Edmund Bagnell, second violinist Christopher Marchant, violist Trevor Wadleigh, and cellist Daniel Shevlin. Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome formed in 2012 and has since gained international attention. They have been invited to perform at the Vatican in Rome and at a gala for President Obama. Their hit 'viral' music video "Chelsea's Mom" led to a special requested performance for 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton herself. They have also performed with artists such as Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Audra McDonald, Deborah Voigt, and they were the opening act for Joe Jonas and his band DNCE at Pride Toronto. They have performed twice with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, and last December they co-starred in two Christmas concerts at Town Hall in Manhattan with the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. The group has received critical acclaim at New York's prestigious Feinstein's/54 Below and beyond, from the House of Blues in New Orleans to the Leicester Square Theatre in London.

General admission tickets are $30 and may be purchased online at www.lalgbtcenter.org/theatre or by phone at (323) 860-7300. Net proceeds from all ticket sales will support the full range of free and low-cost programs and services offered by the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre is located at 1125 N. McCadden Place (one block east of Highland, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard), in Hollywood, 90038.
