Emma Hunton (Wicked, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening) recently took to the Rockwell stage, performing songs ranging from Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way" to Radiohead's "Creep." Guest stars included Glee's Lindsay Pearce and Dear John Hughes' Michael Thomas Grant. Grant is currently performing alongside Hunton in "The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Clueless," playing now through October 2nd at Rockwell Table and Stage. Hunton honored her Broadway roots with a performance of Spring Awakening's "Touch Me."

Emma Hunton can be seen performing at Rockwell Table and Stage on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in "The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Clueless" as Tai. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Clueless, Director Daniel Segura has written a new adaptation of the cult classic which starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd. Just before her 32nd birthday, Laura Thomas' Emma finds herself going through a rough spot when her best friend Weston (Tom DeTrinis) convinces her to follow him down the rabbit hole of quotable one-liners known as Clueless. Together the two of them embody the roles of Cher and Amber, respectively, playing out the plot of the movie with a few twists and turns along the way. Guilty pleasure mashups, musical theatre, and rapping ensues, leading Emma back to her reality and helping to lead her back to the path of happiness that she was searching for before her timely trip back to the 90's.

The cast includes Peter Porte (Elton/Christian), Laura Thomas (Cher), Spencer Strong Smith (Josh), Levi Freeman (Elton/Christian), Chris Chatman (Murray), Corbin Reid (Dionne), Emma Hunton (Tai), Julia Black (Dionne), Michael Thomas Grant (Travis), Casey Hayden (Swing), Misha Reeves (Female Ensemble of One/Miss Geist et al.), Tom DeTrinis (Amber), Branton Lewis Cox (Male Ensemble of One/Mr. Hall et al.), and Aly French (Swing). The show is adapted by Daniel Segura & Kate Pazakis, directed by Daniel Segura, musical direction and arrangements by Lee Huff, assistant director/choreographer Andrew Pirozzi, stage manager Valerie Dohrer, and presenting the Rockwell band, Emily Rosenfield (Guitar), Elmo Zapp (Bass), and Adam Alessi (Drums).
