Universal Studios Holds Auditions 8/24 for its Halloween Horror Nights' ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

Open casting call for dynamic singers and dancers at Universal Studios Hollywood as the theme park readies its new "Halloween Horror Nights" live stage performance, "Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute." Versatile performers are invited to step through the time warp again to audition for the principle roles: Dr. Frank N Furter, Janet Weiss, Brad Majors, Riff Raff, Magenta and Rocky.

The "Hallloween Horror Nights" event at Universal Studios Hollywood has been re-designed for 2009 and will feature all-new mazes and scare zones based on some of the most terrifying horror and slasher films. Attraction highlights include "Saw: Game Over," "Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers," and "Shaun of the Dead," as well as the all-new "Terror Tram: Live or Die on the historic Universal backlot."

"Halloween Horror Nights" kicks off Friday October 2 and will continue for 16 nights on consecutive weekends and select weekdays. More information is available at www.HalloweenHorrorNights.com.

Several hundred performers intent upon joining the outrageous cast of characters from the celebrated cult phenomenon, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
