Theatre Unleashed Welcomes Three Co-Productions!
In continuing its mission of collaborating with local artists, encouraging new works and celebrating acclaimed shows, Theatre Unleashed is pleased to welcome three amazing co-productions on stage at The Belfry from August 25-29.
Back Off Track; Saga of a Quitter is a world premiere comedic solo show from funny man and Theatre Unleashed member Carey Matthews that follows a guy trying to find his place in life...while constantly quitting. It plays Aug. 28-29 at 7:30 p.m.
My Big Fat Blonde Musical is the widely acclaimed show from the multi-talented Theresa Stoll. It won several awards at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, including Top of Fringe. Theresa reprises this one woman show about an aspiring actress who dreams of the bright lights of Hollywood, only to learn all too quickly upon arrival that breaking into the entertainment industry is far from glamorous . . . or kind. When it seems that all hope is lost, Terri decides to persevere and create her own opportunities, Hollywood be damned! It plays Aug. 28-29 at 9 p.m.
The three shows come hot off the heels of the sold out run of Passages: Classics Remixed from Theatre Unleashed. Next up will be the original show about Edgar Allen Poe, entitle Nevermore. Details coming soon!
