This weekend, August 1st & 2nd, The Vagrancy invites you to staged readings of five brand spanking new plays written by The Vagrancy's diverse and talented Writer's Group. Come be inspired, drink wine, and jump into the process by participating in the invaluable audience talk-balks.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st:

1PM: THE SCRAMBLING CLASS by Amy Tofte (THE COUNT GOES DOWN, Semi- Finalist for nuVoice's & The Kitchen Dog Theatre's Festivals), Directed by McKerrin Kelly. Featuring Danny Ross, Michael Pignatelli, Caitlin Carleton, Chelsea Kurtz, Taylor Beia, Jenny Curtis, Robert Walker, & Gabriela Ortega.

4PM: I WANT HER WET LIKE GASOLINE by Megan Breen (THE DIRT AND ITS HARP IN HER MOUTH, OC Examiner's 2013 Best New Plays of Orange County), Directed by Carly Weckstein. Featuring Alex Marshall-Brown, Maia Kazan, Jim Senti, Bruce A. Lemon Jr., Jonny Taylor & Arthur Keng.

SUNDAY AUGUST 2nd:

1PM: OP by Jesse Shao (WHERE YOU END..I BEGIN, Semi-Finalist for John Cauble Play National) Directed by Caitlin Hart. Featuring Arthur Keng, Sedale Threatt Jr., Liza Cosier, Alex Marshall-Brown & Steve Madar.

4PM: THE CHARLIE PLAY by Nahal Navidar (110 FLIGHTS, workshopped at the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive) Directed by Doug Oliphant. Featuring Gabriella Ortega, Karina Wolfe, Mary Ellen Schneider, Robert Paterno, & Jennifer Wilson Farac.

7PM: HORSE by Cort Brinkerhoff (NEUROSIS, published in Canyon Voices Literary Magazine, Issue 8) Directed by Reena Dutt. Featuring Karthik Srinivasan, Andrew Walke, Jenny Soo, Jennifer Wilson Farac & Gina Manziello.
