The Repertory East Playhouse will continue the highly anticipated "81 Series" on Friday, August 14, at 8:00pm with the critically acclaimed comedy, Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. Sponsored by Ed and Dana Hill of Geotechnologies Inc., Be a Part of The 81 at the Opening Night Wine Reception Sponsored by Engelmann Cellars at 7:00pm with curtain at 8:00pm.
Bruce and Prudence are deeply into therapy. Prudence's macho therapist is urging her to be more assertive while Bruce's wacky female therapist wants him to meet women by placing a personal ad. She does not fully comprehend that Bruce has a male lover who is not pleased by Bruce's desire to date a woman: Prudence. Bruce doesn't know how to handle poor nervous Prudence and Prudence doesn't know what to make of her unpredictable new boyfriend. They do learn to live beyond therapy in this delightful Off Broadway hit that moved successfully to Broadway.

"This is just what the doctor ordered," says REP Artistic Director Ovington Michael Owston. "Enjoy a glass of wine, and get ready to laugh, really hard."

The REP is now serving wine and beer at the REP Wine Bar. Enjoy a glass of Engelmann Cellars Summer Quartet or CabShiraz blend. Not a wine person, enjoy an ice cold beer before, during, and after the show. Please drink responsibly.
