The Porters of Hellsgate Theatre Company Presents William Shakespeare's CYMBELINE

The Porters of Hellsgate Theatre Company presents William Shakespeare's Cymbeline, directed by Charles Pasternak. This production features modern music and choreography, ensemble storytelling, and a majority gender-bent cast - highlighting Shakespeare's exploration of societal roles, violation, and forgiveness.

Despite its title, Cymbeline truly belongs to Imogen. One of Shakespeare's greatest heroines, it is the story of her survival and strength. Newcomer Cameron Kauffman will take on the role; filling out the ensemble are Dawn Alden, Thomas Bigley, Will Block, Jono Eiland, Caitlin McColl, Cindy Nguyen, Kate O'Toole, Kirsta Peterson, Debba Rofheart, Jesse James Thomas, Sydney Rose Walker, and Alexandra Wright. Artistic Director Charles Pasternak returns to the director's chair for the first time since last year's critically acclaimed production of Pericles.

Cymbeline will be the Porters' twenty-seventh production along the road to completing Shakespeare's canon.

Cymbeline opens Saturday, September 8. It will run Fridays & Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2, closing October 14. The show will be presented at The Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center
