OBCTheater presents the classic Musical Comedy The Pirates of Penzance for one weekend only, August 25 - 28th, 2016.

Featuring prominent Southern California tenor ROBERT HOYT as the Pirate King, LANCE GALGON as Frederic, James Ellis as the Major General, KELLEN FORD as the Sergeant of the Police, AMANDA KALKANIS as Mabel and MARLISA Yace as Ruth with a stellar cast of performers from throughout the Inland Empire.

Filled with catchy tunes, The Pirates of Penzance has all the ingredients for the perfect farce: a damsel in distress, a sexy pirate king, a manuevering Major General, and a series of delightfully absurd mix-ups. Expecting to be released from servitude on his 21st birthday, pirate apprectice Frederic falls for the beauteous young Mabel. But due to a leap-year technicality, the poor lad soon discovers that he must be away from the love of his life and continue his apprecticeship for another 63 years. Will he ever be free? Will he win the hand of the beautiful Mabel? Find out as OBCTheater brings one of the funniest musicals of all time to the Corona Civic Center.
