The Music Center Brings The Rhythm of Cuba to Angelenos with Free Events in Grand Park

Grand Park will host Afro-Cuban dance and percussion workshops and a Rumba Dance Party + Jam Session, where a collective of Cuban and Cuban-American musicians and dancers including Pancho Amat, Yissy Garcia, Made In Cuba, Telmary Diaz, and more will present the ancient traditions of Rumba. Part of The Music Center's Cuba: Antes, Ahora / Then, Now, a multifaceted celebration of traditional and contemporary Cuban art, both events are open to all levels.
As one of only three performing arts organizations selected to take part in the Getty-led Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, The Music Center will present more than 48 world-class Cuban and Cuban-American musicians, dancers and visual artists at The Music Center and Grand Park in Los Angeles.
