The newly re-opened The Mayfair Hotel has become one of the hottest new destinations to Los Angeles downtown after a packed grand opening this past weekend. Among the packed to the capacity crowd were many of the exhibiting artists such as Stephen Vanasco, Chaz, Cryptic, Herbie Fletcher and Risk, as well as musicians and hip-hop royalty like The Alchemist, DJ Muggs, Mickey Avalon, Landon McNamara, and hip-hop veteran Everlast who was also in attendance for the grand opening.

"We've put in a lot of hard work over the past two years with the staff at the Mayfair to make this a world-class destination for music, art, and accommodations," said Kevin Zinger. "We were overwhelmed by the response from our grand opening and that everyone rallied around us to help support this new home for the artistic community."

"You see art everywhere now in LA which is great. But we are building a home for artists. LA needs that," commented RISK.

The Mayfair Hotel officially re-launched this past weekend after a multi-million dollar renovation with all-new world-class accommodations that have been carefully paired with a handpicked collection of art, music and entertainment. The Mayfair Hotel was artistically curated by Kelly "RISK" Graval along with Kevin Zinger, Brian Greif and Ivory Daniel of Regime 72, who hand-picked all the artists to design the artwork that is showcased on each of the hotel floors. Regime 72 also helped put together the hotel's creative programming, which recalls the glamorous heydays of the 1920's, while also offering visitors an intimate view into the DNA of the city of Los Angeles. All the activations simultaneously highlight the history of The Mayfair and its newly minted social venues, including the M Bar, Library Bar, the Garden Gallery and the Ballroom.

The Mayfair Hotel is a celebration and rejuvenation of the best of Los Angeles while creating a space for everyone in the Arts community.

With a career spanning 30 years, RISK has been synonymous with the Los Angeles art scene for decades and has solidified his place in history as a world-renowned fine artist. RISK's art spans the spectrum of everything from renowned clothing brands and canvas pieces, to massive public murals that breathe life into their communities. RISK has also worked with some of the most notable music festivals, musicians, and events around the globe, including Coachella, the MTV Music Awards, Sunset Strip Music Festival, The Doors and of course his high-profile collaboration with Aerosmith. In 2017 RISK was received one of the highest honors and was Knighted in Italy at San Silvestro al Quirinale a church designed and built by Michael Angelo.

Now as The Mayfair's artist-in-residence, RISK enters a New Medium for artistic expression as he curates all art at the multi-faceted hotel. Featured artists can be found throughout the hotel's public spaces including lobby area, Library Bar, Eve American Bistro, guest room floors and the reception desk. RISK, Zinger and Brian Greif will lead the hotel's special art exhibits and gallery at the hotel. The Regime/Graval Gallery's first show will feature a group of California's most premier artists called "Iconnoclass" featuring RISK, Retna, Revok, Shepard and Chaz.
