The Grove Theatre and Academy Presents RENT, Offers Student Special

By:

The show that changed Broadway is coming to the Grove Theatre, opening Friday, January 15th. It is a show about how lives are touched. Many have left changed as people after experiencing this show.*

* Language and subject matter for mature audiences only.
525, 600 Minutes........
525,600 minutes,
525,000 moments so dear.
525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
In 525,600 minutes -
how do you measure a year in the life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love.
Seasons of love.....

The Grove Theatre is the first theatre in the Inland Empire to present this TONY and Pulitzer Prize Award winning Broadway phenomenon.

RENT has such a strong and poignant message to bring to our world today. It is about a group of 20 to 30 year old bohemians trying to live in New York's East Village. They are all dealing with life crises like AIDS, drugs, death, and love - the challenges that come with being young. The music is touching and the extremely talented cast makes each character come alive.

The language is strong and the subject matter is for mature audiences only. No one under 18 is permitted to come to the show without adult supervision.
