The Grove Theatre Presents Family Favorite ANNIE

By:

The Grove Theatre is excited to announce the opening of Annie the Musical, starring film, TV and stage actor John McCool Bowers as Daddy Warbucks. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie, played by Elise Burt, charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous and magical world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, she foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations and befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Annie is the perfect family-friendly show. Running on weekends through Sunday April 23rd, Annie the Musical opens on Saturday, April 1st at 7:29 pm.

Tickets are $30.00 and $25.00 for adults and $15 for children and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
