Starting on Friday, April 25, The Clown School will begin its first class of the new year, the Spring Intensive. Suitable for beginners and return clowns alike, the Intensive will offer a unique and extraordinary challenge to participants who take the plunge and are willing to transform themselves. Variously described as "magnificent," "incredible," and "life-changing," the class is a rare opportunity to go in at the deep end.

"The work that is the focus of The Clown School is integral to well-rounded training... If you find yourself in a position to study with them - do it! I have seen the results, and it's transformational," exclaims Jayd McCarty, Director of The Studio in New York. And of the class, Artistic Director David Bridel explains, "We base our work in the discipline of clown because we believe that clowning embraces and celebrates the totality of the human experience and offers unparalleled freedom in art. We love to play!"

The Spring Intensive runs April 25, 26 and 27, 10am-6pm each day; the class takes place in LA and the fee is $425. Later in the spring, following the Spring Intensive, The Clown School will initiate its Level 2 class, The Big Flop, for returning clowns or those with previous clown experience who wish to continue their journey.Discounts are available for previous students and those who invite their friends to The Clown School's mailing list and Facebook and Twitter pages.
