The Art of Acting Studio Announces 4th Annual Shakespeare Benefit Image

The Art of Acting Studio will hold its 2018 fundraiser for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, dubbed the Shakespeare Benefit, on April 21st and 22nd, 2018 at 8pm. A longstanding tradition in New York at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, this year's benefit will be its 4th year in Los Angeles!

The production will include Shakespeare scenes, monologues, sonnets, and songs featuring current students, alumni, administration and faculty. The event is a pay-what-you-can event, and all proceeds will benefit BC/EFA. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting has donated over $90,000 since the benefit's inception. There will also be a silent auction for BC/EFA, including signed Broadway Show Posters and Playbills.

To make a reservation for the show please visit tinyurl.com/aoashakes4, call 323-601-5310 or email info@artofactingstudio.com. You can also make a donation at tinyurl.com/aoabcefadonationpage. The Art of Acting Studio is located at 1017 North Orange Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

Founded in 1949, the Stella Adler Studio New York & the Art of Acting Studio Los Angeles occupy a unique place in the history of both theater and actor training in the United States. Rooted in the spirit of Stella Adler, and the insight that growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous, students are challenged on every level by world-class faculty and by a mission to nurture theater artists so that they value humanity, their own and others, as their first priority, while bringing art and education to the community.

In Los Angeles, the studio's name is the Art of Acting Studio, named after Stella Adler's most famous book; for more information, visit www.artofactingstudio.com.
