Seattle native Terry Gallagher performs "From Convent To Cabaret", a one-woman cabaret style concert at a 2 PMmatinee on Sunday, May 25th at Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Ms. Gallagher recently purchased a home here at Mission Hills Country Club and is happy to take on dual-residency and to share what the folks back home have long-known about her, the woman can sing!

Terry, who grew up in a religious family, thought the convent was her calling before she discovered musical theater and went instead for classical music training and on to perform in musicals as well as touring with an Afro-American Spiritual group in Canada. She later attended Yale Cabaret Conference where she met one of our local cabaret stars, Jerome Elliott, who's since gone to Seattle to join Terry in several shows.

Terry Gallagher in "From Convent To Cabaret" with Joel Baker on piano is Sunday, May 25th and presented by Les Michaels' Sundays In Summer Series and The Joslyn Center. The $11 tickets will be sold at the box office, which opens at 1 PM and is located at the Arthur Newman Theater, 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert and you may call 760-325-2731 with any questions.
