Tammy Minoff's PERENNIAL Begins 6/1 at Sidewalk Studio Theatre

By:

Tammy Minoff (of Los Angeles; Original Casts of "The Will Rogers Follies" and "The Goodbye Girl") will star as Rosemary in the World Premiere of a new play called "Perennial," which marks her debut as a playwright.

Under the direction of Alexa Coblentz (of Los Angeles; Co-Producer of "Joshua Tree 1951 - A Portrait of James Dean"), the play will be presented as a guest production of the Sidewalk Studio Theater, 4150 Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA 91505 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., June 1 - 29, 2013. The cast also includes: Billy AaRon Brown (of Studio City as Leo; "8 Simply Rules," "Boston Public," "Jeepers Creepers 2"); John Churchill(of Manhattan Beach as Donald; "CSI," "Criminal Minds," "Carnivale"); Kelly Frye (of Hancock Park as May; "NCIS: LA," Webseries - "Roommates," "Celebrities Anonymous") and Wes Whitehead (of Miracle Mile as Tom; Founding Member of IAMA Theatre Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, "Girl Walks Into A Bar," "By The Time The Sun Is Hot").

"Perennial," a play in two acts, follows Rosemary, an aspiring painter and free spirit who has just moved to New York City. While sketching in Washington Square Park she meets Tom, an architect and playboy. Their intense chemistry quickly evolves into a serious romance. Juxtaposed with this burgeoning romance are Tom's best friends, May and Donald. They've been married for several years and are now facing the monotony of their life together. Further complicating these romances is Leo, Rosemary's often inappropriate, yet earnest best friend from high school. Watch these characters struggle, come together and fall apart as they try to find themselves.

The Production Team for "Perennial" includes: Jonathan Oliver Sessler (of Los Angeles, Producer); Page Bartelt (of Malibu, Associate Producer); Saxon Jones (of Los Angeles, Assistant Director); Vanessa Chafen (of Hollywood, Costume Designer); Paige Selene Luke (of Hollywood, Lighting Designer); J.J. Wickham (of Los Feliz, Set Designer); Adeline Newmann (of Los Angeles, Video Designer); Joe LaRue (of Echo Park, Video Designer); Borja Sau (of Los Angeles, Sound Designer); Adam Conger (of Los Angeles, Set Construction); Matt Fox (of Los Angeles, Stage Manager) and Steve Moyer Public Relations (of Los Angeles, Press Representative).

Tickets are $20 each in advance online and $25 each at the door and can be purchased online at http://perennial.brownpapertickets.com/ or by calling Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006, pressing one for Customer Service and then mentioning the show "Perennial," event number 386123.
