THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAZOR RIBBON Makes World Premiere At The Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018 ImageThe World Premiere, The Other Side of The Razor Ribbon is the true story of how writer/comedian Stacy Dymalski helped federal prisoner David C. Taylor write about his career as a human trafficker of illegal immigrants along the California border. Completely broke from divorce, Stacy reluctantly signs on to mentor David because she needs the money. But upon digging deeper (through interviews, letters, legal documents) Stacy soon discovers David's story reveals a compassionate side of illegal immigration we've never seen before, as told by a boots-on-the-ground insider who just happens to be born a white, U.S. citizen in middle-class America. As Stacy helps David piece together his story, it puts them on a three-year journey; two unlikely people, who at the lowest points in their lives have no choice but to rely on unsubstantiated trust and tremendous leaps of faith-just to get this important story out. (David's manuscript was published by E-Magination Publishing, resulting in the book, Jacumba Connection).

The Other Side of the Razor Ribbon opens for six shows during the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival at Studio C Theatre (6444 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, 90038) on Saturday, June 2, 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 8:30 p.m., Saturday, June 16, noon, Thursday, June 21, 7 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at www.hollywoodfringe.org/projects/4823
