Recently named one of LA's Top 5 venues for dinner and concerts in an intimate setting for the third, consecutive year by My Fox LA TV's 2009 Hot List, Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, CA, welcomes Broadway musical theatre stars Nicole Barnhart and Judy Norton to their stage to close out what has already been marked as a banner month of sold out shows including the Finale of LA's Next Great Stage Star 2010 won by newcomer Janet Krupin on January 3rd and Nightclub star Jackie Gibson in You and the Night and the Music on January 9th.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 24 - NICOLE BARNHART makes her headlining engagement at Sterling's in The Story Goes On. A versatile performer and a graduate of the world renowned Citrus Singers, Nicole's favorite theater credits include "Joseph..." (Narrator), "Into the Woods" (Rapunzel), "...Forum" (Philia), and "1940's Radio Hour" (Ginger). She has rocked the nightclubs in a top 40's band, caroled at Disneyland and Knott's, and danced at the Las Vegas Hilton in "The Dream King" starring Trent Carlini. Currently, Nicole performs regularly at Tibbies Great American Cabaret, teaches voice lessons, and is most importantly a proud wife and mommy. She has been privileged to record the soundtrack for husband Brian Thomas Barnhart's film "The Ballad of Angel Face," composed by Emmy Award winner Dennis McCarthy. The Story Goes On will feature Special Guest Artists Kara Stephens and Matt Hoglund, brother-in-law Evan Barnhart on guitar, and Janice Rodgers Wainwright on piano as Ms. Barnhart's Musical Director.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 31 - AN EVENING WITH Judy Norton. Internationally known for nine years for her co-starring role as "Mary Ellen" on the Emmy Award-winning, worldwide hit television series The Waltons, Judy Norton closes out the month at Sterling's in an all new concert act which also marks her debut at the renowned Studio City nightclub. Ms. Norton's acting credits include three Walton TV movie reunions and a vast array of guest starring roles on various television shows throughout the years. A veteran theatre performer, she has co-starred in such musicals as Hello Dolly, Cinderella, The Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun and the recent Los Angeles revival of Blood Brothers. Directorial efforts include this past summer's hit production of Cabaret presented by Musical Theatre of Los Angeles at The Met Theatre; Get Me John Denver; A Tribute to Patsy Cline and numerous productions throughout Canada.

Current pricing at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's is a $50 VIP, Premium, Preferred Seating Package which includes a four-course, prix-fixe dinner with a choice from three signature entrees, plus a one hour performance. A select number of $25 General Admission, general seating packages (inclusive of a minimum toward food and/or beverage and the performance) are also available.

Sunday dinner seatings begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a 7:00 pm performance.

During his career, Michael Sterling has represented such luminaries as Elizabeth Taylor, Lance Armstrong, Scott Hamilton, David Copperfield, Joan Collins, Alan Thicke, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, David Brenner, Lance Burton, Andy Gibb, The Bee Gees, George Harrison, Donny and Marie Osmond and the Osmond Brothers, the Carpenters, Robert Goulet, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O'Connor, and Broadway icon Carol Lawrence ... among others. Aside from his celebrity clientele, Mr. Sterling has represented various National Theatre and arena tours, award-winning Los Angeles theatre productions, Emmy Award-winning television specials, celebrity books, and Grammy winning albums and CD's. He is also a critically acclaimed Director of musical theatre in Los Angeles; has produced numerous theatrical events and productions throughout southern California and in Las Vegas. In September 2009, Mr. Sterling and former Broadway star Dean Butler (Into the Woods) and longtime Television co-star of Little House on the Prairie, were appointed Los Angeles Television Correspondents for BroadwayWorld.com, the largest internet site in the world for all things Broadway and Theatre related.
