Steps off Broadway Productions, Inc. Presents INTO THE WOODS

By:

Steps off Broadway Productions, Inc., has announced the upcoming staged performances of Stephen Sondheim's Broadway hit musical spectacular, Into the Woods.

The show opens February 4th and runs through February 12th. Staged by Broadway veteran Keith Mottola, the show features some of the area's best musical theater talent. Joining the local talent is Polly Seale playing the role of the witch, which was played by Bernadette Peters on Broadway. Polly Seale comes to the show from Burbank, CA. Polly is a theater veteran who has performed in many shows in Las Vegas, Walt Disney, and also played the Wicked Witch in touring company of The Wizard of Oz.

About the show: "The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and follows them further to explore the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from the stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Cinderella, tied together by a more original story involving a baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family, most likely taken from the original story of Rapunzel by The Brothers Grimm. It also includes references to several other well-known tales."

Come and revisit some of your favorite childhood fairy tales. The music will have you tapping your feet and the storyline will be sure to keep you entertained. This is a must see production.

Cast: Polly Seale from Burbank, CA, Kyle Beckley from NY, Aubrie Bagdasarian and Paige Trottier from Bellingham, Troy Wheeler from Franklin, Nicole Newton from Medway, Jake DiGregorio, Gloria Dewar, Nick Landmesser, Alex Wolf, and Donna Wolf from Milford, Kate Hollis from Hopedale, Caitlyn O'Neil and Stephanie Urko from Wrentham, Maggie Pickard from Norfolk, Ryan Leverone and Ashley McQueston from Uxbridge, Anthony Bollino from Mansfield, Mary Butler from Easton, Elizabeth Jaques from North Attleboro, and Sarah Dube, Marissa Liotta, and Lilia Smyth from Rhode Island.
