Single tickets for The Soraya's eagerly anticipated 2018-19 season of the best of the performing arts are now on sale. With tickets starting as low as $29 ($15 for CSUN students) for select subscription series, The Soraya offers audiences the opportunity to experience a wide breadth of performances from the opening night tribute to legendary Mexican singer Juan Gabriel featuring the Queen of Ranchera Aida Cuevas to Martha Graham dance company's world premiere of The EVE Project; from Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra featuring violinist Jennifer Koh to LA's classical music innovators, wild Up, tackling jazz icon John Coltrane; from Brazilian music legend Sergio Mendes to an evening with Broadway's Lea Salonga to close out the season.
The Soraya's 2018-19 season features four world premieres, two American premieres, several of the world's greatest orchestras, innovative jazz programs, two tributes to Hollywood legends, Broadway classics plus artists from 18 different nations. We'll also host a new violin concerto from Danny Elfman, jazz that crossed the Caribbean from Cuba, a fresh post-Hamilton look at the founding fathers in a new version of the musical 1776, an evening of dance dedicated to the women's suffrage movement by the legendary Martha Graham Dance Company, Lea Salonga, Valery Gergiev conducting the Mariinsky Orchestra and Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting the Colburn Orchestra -these are the performances that define our upcoming season."Videos
