Sedaka Launches Songbook Series at LA Philharmonic, 10/27

Iconic American singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka comes to Walt Disney Concert Hall for the first time to share his best-loved hits, Wednesday, October 27, at 8 p.m. The performance is the first of three 201/11 LA Phil Songbook series concerts.
 
Sedaka's career spans more than 50 years and includes an incredibly broad legacy of hits, including Calendar Girl," "Laughter in the Rain," and "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen." The audience will be treated to a career -spanning 90-minute set.
 
Each year since its inception, the LA Phil Songbook series has brought audiences some of the most cherished evenings of American song. The 2010/2011 series continues with:  Michael Feinstein (February 5, 2011); and The Songs of Patsy Cline with special guest The Living Sisters: Inara George, Eleni Mandell, Becky Stark (May 7, 2011).

A limited number of $10 rush tickets for seniors and full time students may be available at the Walt Disney Concert Hall box office two hours prior to the performance.
