Sally Kellerman to Open Vicky's Jazz Supper Club, 1/10

 Sally Kellerman, the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominated actress and singer who created the infamous role of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" O'Houlihan in Robert Altman's classic film, "M*A*S*H," will return to the desert to appear as a vocal soloist on Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Season Opening Concert for the American Jazz Institute's Live From Vicky's Jazz Supper Club Series 2011 in her show, "Sally Kellerman:  Hot Lips To Cool Blues!," to be presented at Vicky's of Santa Fe; 45-100 Club Drive; Indian Wells, CA  92210.

Patrons can choose from the Jazz Supper Club's Three Course Menu which includes:  First Course - Appetizer (choice of one):  Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail or Poached Pear & Gorgonzola over Mixed Field of Greens with Candied Walnuts and Balsamic Vinaigrette; Second Course - Entrée (choice of one):  8 ounce New Zealand Rack of Lamb or Fresh Salmon broiled with garlic white wine topped with Grilled Shrimp or Marinated, Bone in Veal Chop; all Entrées are served with Chef's Choice of fresh Vegetables and Potatoes; Third Course - Dessert:  Chocolate Cake with fresh seasonal berries with Coffee/Tea.

Sally Kellerman grew up in the San Fernando Valley.  She attended Hollywood High School, where she was "bitten by the acting bug," and continued her studies at Los Angeles City College.  She also studied at The Actors Studio in Los Angeles with Jeff Corey and famous classmates, including: Shirley Knight, Jack Nicholson, Robert Towne, Robert Blake, James Colburn and Roger Corman.

The actress has amassed an impressive Résumé of hundreds of memorable feature film, television and theatre credits.  She began her television career appearing on "Outer Limits."  Other television appearances include roles on the Pilot Episode of "Star Trek" and in episodes of "Kraft Suspense Theatre" and "Bob Hope Presents The Chrysler Theatre."  She has starred in "Back To School," opposite Rodney Dangerfield, "Big Blonde" and "Boynton Beach Club."  Kellerman's film work includes starring roles in the movies the "Last of The Red Hot Lovers," "Slither," "Foxes" and "A Little Romance." She has been doing voiceover work for over 30 years for clients like Hidden Valley Salad Dressing and Milky Way, and everything in between.

The main source of her passion besides her family and film career is her love of music and singing, which she has been doing since she was a child.  Under contract with Verve Records at the age of 18, Kellerman has been blessed with a signature voice and style as well as an uncanny ability to make a song her own.

She is married to renowned film producer and Renaissance man, Jonathan D.
