SO ANYWAY ... John Cleese Share Life Stories And Big Laughs At The McCallum Theatre

The McCallum Theatre presents John Cleese for two performances, Sunday, March 12, at 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Britain's living legend of comedy, John Cleese, hits the road for laughs and a leisurely walk through his life. Sharing stories from his autobiography So, Anyway..., the co-founder of Monty Python talks about how he became a celebrity despite having some talent. It's the life of Britain's most revered and ridiculous son, a not-to-be missed journey from impropriety to notoriety.

John Cleese is both a versatile comedic actor and a leading business motivator. With the legendary British comedy series "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and "Fawlty Towers" and films, including The Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, The Life of Brian and A Fish Called Wanda, he created a unique comedic style that has inspired countless writers and comedians.

John's influence is also felt in the corporate world as the founder of Video Arts, the world's largest provider of business training programs. Established in 1972 with three fellow British actors, Video Arts gained an international reputation as the premier source for business know-how. John attributes his success at making hit training programs to his fascination with psychology and his love for teaching and making people laugh. He believes that "humor in training increases retention and decreases anxiety. When the training point is surrounded with humor, it can be readily digested, remembered and applied."
