SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE Opens 11/18 at Fox PAC
MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT & FX ARTS today announced the second in its brand new "Broadway Series" of shows, with one of the greatest, rocking and rolling-est, jukebox musicals ever written, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE with songs by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, musical direction by Lloyd Cooper and directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Polk. SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE will open on Friday, November 18, 2011 and perform for three performances only through Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Fox Riverside Performing Arts Center, 3801 Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside.
The songs of Leiber and Stoller provide the basis for an electrifying entertainment that illuminates a golden age of American Culture. SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE features nearly 40 of the greatest songs ever recorded, including Hound Dog, Stand By Me, Love Potion Number Nine, I'm a Woman, and Jailhouse Rock. The show was nominated for 5 Tony Awards and thrilled audiences on Broadway for five years, and the Original Broadway cast recording, "Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs Of Leiber And Stoller" won a Grammy award.
SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE will open on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 8pm and will also perform on Saturday, November 19 at 2pm & 8pm.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the Fox Performing Arts Center Box Office which is located at 3801 Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside.
Ticket Prices range from $30 - $69.
The Box Office is open Monday -Friday from Noon to 6:00 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on all show days from 10:00 AM to Show Time.
