When it comes to solo shows, Schachner is at the top of her game. A critically acclaimed solo performer and a veteran in the solo performance community, Schachner has created nearly a dozen shows, garnering awards and sold out crowds at fringe festivals and festivals throughout the country. Her body of work covers eating disorders (PLATE), fear (BOXING CHICKEN), sexual identity (LILLY), rejection (TOTEROONIE), fear of intimacy (SHADOW KISSERS), and the list goes on.
As an improviser, Abby was a member of The Second City Touring Company, a founding member in Improv Olympic's all star team, JANE, and part of Adam McKay's 'Welding Accident'.
She is a Midwest Emmy Nominated Children's Television Host and despite any baseball knowledge, was the White Sox Spokesperson. Her writing has been featured on Showtime, MTV, and Comedy Central.
