SAWED IN HALF Extends Through Nov 12 at ACME Theatre
SAWED IN HALF, America's funniest mom, comedic, one-woman show, has extended again at ACME Theatre, continuing tonight, October 21st, through November 12th, with performances at 8:00PM on Friday & Saturday.
Crowned America's Funniest Mom on Oprah, stand-up comedienne and actress, Andrea Mezvinsky has created a new solo play "Sawed in Half" that begs the question: 'What happens when one woman's competing roles of wife, mother, lover, and performer collide? Seeking guidance from role models as diverse as her spry but dead Jewish grandmother and her neurotic, feminist mother to Frida Kahlo, Isadora Duncan, and Erma Bombeck, Andrea tries to abide by all the rules before realizing that, in the game of life, a woman has to make her own.
Developed & Directed by Victoria Larimore. Starring Comedian & Actress and Co-playwright Andrea Mezvinsky. Produced by Jerome Cleary and Larry Minion.
ACME Theatre is located at 5124 - 5126 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA. 91601. Advance tickets: $17.00 ($20.00 at the Box Office/Door). Tickets available at: brownpapertickets.com.
