The Academy of Music for the Blind presents SHADES OF BROADWAY with guest stars Roger Bart & Adam Pascal on Sunday, October 18th at 2pm at the Moss Theater in Santa Monica.

The Academy of Music for the Blind, a non-profit music school for blind children ages 4-18, will take to the Moss Theater stage with their voices, instruments and the guest vocals of Broadway stars to raise money for their academy.

In its 12th year, this small non-profit school teaches 25 of LA's most promising blind musicians. Each student is taught one on one with a teacher on guitar, piano, drums, sax, flute, music composition and voice.
AMB recently opened a second location in Whittier to service the blind in Southern LA & Orange County.

On the 18th, AMB will begin with a silent auction at 2 p.m.; the show will begin at 3 p.m.

Joining the students onstage is Tony Award winner Roger Bart (YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, THE PRODUCERS, TV's REVENGE) and RENT star Adam Pascal, along with other surprise guests, including singer Julie Garnye, producer, performer and teacher for AMB, Rena Strober, and more.

Tickets range from $20-$150 and every penny goes directly to student scholarships, instruments and hiring enough teachers so every student is taught one on one. For more information visit www.ouramb.org.
