By:

Richard Marx, Allee Willis and other award-winning songwriters will perform their hits at The Songs of Our Lives, Volume IV concert to benefit the Fulfillment Fund - a nonprofit organization which helps Los Angeles youth overcome obstacles in pursuit of their dreams of higher education - on Monday, June 13 at 7:30 pm at the Wadsworth Theatre.

The concert's lineup of award-winning songwriters performing their hits includes:
Jeff Barry ("Leader of the Pack," "Chapel of Love," "Be My Baby," "Da Doo Ron Ron")
Felix Cavaliere (The Rascals - "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," "A Beautiful Morning," "People Got to Be Free")
Steve Dorff ("Every Which Way But Loose," "Through the Years," "I Just Fall in Love Again")
Richard Marx ("Hold On to the Nights," "Right Here Waiting," "Satisfied")
David Pack (Ambrosia - "You're The Only Woman," "The Secret of Moving On," "How Much I Feel")
Allee Willis ("I'll Be There for You," theme from "Friends," "September," "Boogie Wonderland," "Neutron Dance)"

The Songs of Our Lives concert will feature an exclusive guest appearance by a well-known female jazz performer, accompanied by renowned guitarist Oscar Castro-Neves, and a very special performance by the legendary songwriting duo Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox ("Killing Me Softly," "Ready to Take a Chance Again," theme from "Happy Days"), together on stage for the first time in 30 years.

"When I was young, I had opportunities and help in my education that were life-giving to me," said Fox, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Governor of the Motion Picture Academy, and the producer of the annual event. "The Songs of Our Lives concert is my way of paying it forward so that students in Los Angeles get the same opportunity to achieve their dreams."

Giving opportunities range from individual balcony seats starting at $75 to sponsor packages starting at $2,500. All tickets must be reserved in advance (limited number of seats available).

For more than 34 years, the Fulfillment Fund has been dedicated to providing first-generation, low-income students in Los Angeles with the support necessary to graduate from high school, earn a college degree and become productive and successful members of society. Through classroom instruction, college counseling, mentoring and scholarships, the Fund transforms the lives of students. Fulfillment Fund students graduate high school at a rate of 85 percent and of those who graduate, 91 percent go on to college. For more information, visit http://www.fulfillment.org.
