Registration for Hollywood Fringe Festival Ends Today
The registration deadline for productions wishing to be included in the fifth annual Hollywood Fringe Festival's printed guide is today at 11:59 PM PDT. Those projects that complete the three-step registration process after today's deadline may still take part in the festival, benefiting from the organization's online ticketing service and other advantages of registration, but will not be included in the tens of thousands of guides distributed throughout Los Angeles.
The Fringe organization will host two additional Town Halls and a Workshop to help prepare this year's producers for the 2014 Festival. The next Town Hall will be held on Sunday, April 6th at 2 PM PDT at Hudson Theatres and will focus on publicity and marketing. The Workshop will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 2 PM PDT at Theatre Asylum and the final Town Hall will take place May 11th at 2 PM PDT, also at Hudson Theatres. All the events will be filmed and posted on the Fringe Blog for those that cannot attend in person. The Fringe is also hosting a series of Twitter Chats using the #hff14 hashtag between now and the festival. The next one will take place on Monday, April 7th at 1 PM PDT.
