Photo Flash: The Foundation For New American Musicals Presents The 3rd Edition Of 3RD MONDAYS
On Monday, March 19, 2018, the Foundation for New American Musicals returned to Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal to present the 3rd edition of 3RD MONDAYS, an exciting new cabaret series where Broadway legends and emerging artists perform musical theatre songs of yesterday, today, and tomorrow! The evening was hosted by Richard Israel, with music direction by Gerald Sternbach. It featured performances from Tim Martin Gleason (B'way: PHANTOM, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE at Pasadena), Kay Cole (B'way: original cast of A CHORUS LINE, LES MIS at the Hollywood Bowl), Boise Holmes (THE LION KING in Europe, OTHELLO at Lincoln Center, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' at La Mirada), Jenelle Lynn Randall (B'way: ALL SHOOK UP), and Ryan McCartan (off B'way: HEATHERS, TV: "Liv & Maddie", Brad in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW).
3RD MONDAYS is co-produced by Michael Donovan and Christopher Sepulveda.
Since 2008, the Foundation for New American Musicals has curated an annual festival of new musicals throughout Southern California, performed by professionals, communities and schools. The Foundation's mission is to develop new shows for American musical theater, educate the next generation of theater goers, creators and performers, and entertain audiences in Southern California with exciting new musical theater.
