Photo Flash: Tenudity At The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club
Saturday, June 19th found the "Love Goddess" herself, Judy Tenuta, finally getting arrested in Los Angeles by Knine (aka Dog, The Bounty Hunter), for her performance of "Full Frontal Tenudity" at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club.
The two shows scheduled for 8:00pm and 10:00pm were packed with colleagues and fans, who were clearly there to worship ... and they were not disappointed. Living up to the high praise previously bestowed upon her by other industry giants such as Joan Rivers who was once overheard saying "Judy - you are hysterical!" and recently by comedy icon Rip Taylor who declared, "I could Pee, Judy makes me laugh so hard." The boundless energy of the noted stand-up comedian, Tenuta took her audience on a hysterical romp "Stud Surfing" with a 6-foot plus bodybuilder (who was more than willing to lay down his body for her), a spot on impersonation of former Governor Sarah Palin as well as the face lift-addicted matrons of Beverly Hills. In addition, the recently ordained Tenuta performed a same sex marriage on stage, because "In Judyism, you can," by randomly placing one gentleman on bended knee while the other sported a classic white veil. Close friend and outspoken Tenuta enthusiast, Downtown Julie Brown, was encouraged by the patrons to joined her on stage for a little faux slap and tickle fun.
As fans flocked to received signed copies of her CD's, even before she left the stage at the end of the evening, it was announced that The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club was the launch of Ms. Tenuta's national tour of the very audience interactive "Full Frontal Tenudity."
