The theatre at New Village Arts was packed on November 29, 2014 with eager eyes waiting for the West Coast Premiere of The House Theatre of Chicago's THE NUTCRACKER. The fresh take on the holiday classic is directed by Kristianne Kurner, featuring choreography by Colleen Kollar Smith and Musical Direction from Cris O'Bryon. A new spin on the holiday classic centers on young Clara's journey to save Christmas with the help of a magical nutcracker. This modern production weaves together magic, original song and spellbinding spectacle -- fit for the whole family!
