Photo Flash: First Look at 3-D Theatrical's AVENUE Q Opening Night Cast Party
3-D Theatricals presented the third show of its 2012 season with the Three-time Tony Award-winning musical winner, AVENUE Q, music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, book by Jeff Whitty, based on an original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, musical direction by David Lamoureux, director of puppetry is Christian Anderson and directed by 3-D Theatricals Executive Producer and Artistic Director T.J. Dawson and C.J. Porter.
AVENUE Q opened Saturday, July 14 and performs through Sunday, July 29 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the opening night cast party.
AVENUE Q will travel across town to perform at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd. for three performances only August 3-5.
AVENUE Q is the show that won the Tony triple-crown of Best Musical (over Wicked), Best Score, and Best Book! It is a hilarious tale of a recent college grad who moves into a shabby NY apartment looking for his purpose in life. Told with equal parts wit, catchy songs, and puppets, this side-splitting show is a Southern California Regional premiere! And remember, this show is for mature audiences only.
