Photo Flash: Angela Lansbury Among L.A. Press Club Honorees
On Sunday, Dec 4th, The LA Press Club gathered to honor their own at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Among the honorees were Diane Warren, Chelsea Handler and receiving the Legend Award was the Iconic Angela Lansbury. When asked, whom she would like to present her with this honor, she requested NATAS VP and Daytime Emmy Exec Producer, David Michaels.
Mr. Michaels remarked. "It was one of the great honors of my life that Angela chose me to present this award. She is indeed a legend as a performer, a philanthropist and a person. The LA Press Club made a very wise and informed choice in honoring her and they did a beautiful event." The evening also included an impromtu tribute from friend and colleague Loretta Swit to Angela, declaring that "Angela's generosity early in my career influenced me more that she will ever know."
