THEATRE

Falling

by Deanna Jent

Hollace Starr, Director

Falling boldly explores the complicated reality of a family with an autistic young man. When a relative comes to visit, the entire family is thrown out of equilibrium. This production bravely speaks a truth by asking, "How do you love someone who is difficult to love?" "Falling soars. The play packs a powerful punch" (NY Post). This production contains mature themes. Recommended for ages 15+. No late seating allowed. Join a talk back with the actors and director after each performance.

Tuesday, September 25-Friday, September 28, 2018, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 29, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

It's the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston's Colonial Theatre is hosting the opening-night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage, the entire cast and crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical-theatre fan! Curtains is the final musical from the American musical theatre composing giants Kander and Ebb, who brought us such works as Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. The original Broadway production garnered eight nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
