Pamela Donnelly Joins Cast Of POLYESTER The Musical 11/6-12/20

POLYESTER The Musical, which has its World Premiere Friday, November 6th at the Actors Forum Theatre in NoHo, CA, boasts actress Pamela Donnelly, aka Pamela Shoemaker, in its cast. Donnelly who is well known to soap opera fans of ONE LIFE TO LIVE and ALL MY CHILDREN, and most recently seen on NIP/TUCK, is cast in the role of "Mindy", a singing, dancing member of a fictional Abba-Wannabe group The Synchronistics.

"When I saw the casting boards for this role I knew some lucky actress was about to have the opportunity to create a tour de force. I couldn't wait." Pamela Donnelly could relate on many levels. Ms. Donnelly had been a lead singer in a rock band, was married to a lead singer in a successful rock band that had hits on the Billboard charts, and was witness to the day-to-day difficult human interactions that result from years on a tour bus.

Pamela started her career as a model in New York and Milan. Modeling led to commercials which led to the soap opera, The Edge OF NIGHT, and a very active acting career was born. Eventually, Donnelly returned to school and graduated from an Ivy League College, and earning a BA and MA in dramatic literature.

As a founding member of Malibu Rep Company, Pamela Donnelly has appeared in various roles there including ‘Beverly' in The Shadow Box and ‘April' in Savage in Limbo.

Pamela looks forward to being part of the comic antics and spoof of the disco 70's that POLYESTER The Musical brings. She hopes that audience will feel her joy that "...disco fever is still alive and hysterically well in North Hollywood!"
