This year, the National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera ends its run at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. The Phantom of the Opera is currently the longest running show in Broadway history, and has been performed in over 100 cities worldwide.

The musical, which was adapted from Gaston Leroux's classic novel, tells the story of a young opera singer named Christine whose career is shaped by a mysterious, deformed composer known as "The Phantom." The final performance will be held on October 31, 2010.

The Phantom of the Opera will open at the Pantages Theatre on September 23, and is directed by Harold Prince. The show stars Tim Martin Gleason as The Phantom, with Trista Moldovan as the young soprano, Christine, and Sean MacLaughlin as Raoul. The Phantom of the Opera will also feature Kim Stengel as Carlotta Giudicelli, D.C. Anderson as Monsieur André, Michael McCoy as Monsieur Firmin, Nancy Hess as Madame Giry, Luke Grooms as Ubaldo Piangi and Paloma Garcia-Lee as Meg. Kelly Jeanne Grant will be the alternative actress to fill the role of Christine.

Ticket prices range from $29 to $125 and can be purchased online after August 29. For more information about the show, please visit www.broadwayla.org
