The 75th Anniversary Production of OUR TOWN produced by Jonathan Kupper and PASSCAL (The Performing Arts Society of Southern California) has some changes to announce: Emma Berdie Donson will now serve as Director and Paul Flores as Assistant Director (both are also starring in the production).

There is also a major casting change as familiar local actor Larry Creagan takes on the starring role of Stage Manager. SoCal audiences may recognize Larry from acclaimed roles with The Maverick Theater, (where he has quite a string of shows) most recently playing Luther in THE STING.

Also new to the cast are Karl Schott as Doc Gibbs, Wyman Gentry as Sam Craig, Bill Carson as Mr. Carter and Sinae Kang and Adrienne Kupper as Church Choir members. The rest of the cast stays the same: Emma Berdie Donson as Emily; Paul Flores as George; Kirsten Roquemore as Mrs. Gibbs; Norm Gold as Editor Webb and Kerri Malmgren as Mrs. Webb. With Rebekah Auda, Lori Bowen, Kiah Candell-Vastine, Brittany Costa, James Greene, Gigi Herreros, Jason Hoskins, Jeremy Leochner, Alex Pike and Jonathan Kupper as Simon Stimson. Technical Consultant and Lighting Design by Rob Corn; Costume Design by Kathie Witowich; Stage Manager, Laura Richards; Assistant Stage Manager, Mary Grace Zehnpfennig; Casting Director, Patrick Riviere.

The Thornton Wilder classic has been a sturdy staple of the American theater scene since it debuted on Broadway on 1938. "But having this anniversary production staged inside our beautiful congregational church," Kupper noted "brings a very real flavor to Grover's Corners and its inhabitants. We also believe the added music and underscoring is going to make this production one to be remembered."

A limited run of six performances will be presenTed August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th at The First Congregational Church - 6633 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, CA. Tickets will be available through Brown Paper Tickets or can be purchased at the door (cash only). http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/392243
