PAIN Set for Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy Today
Fresh from a SOLD OUT performance in San Diego, Paul Coates' new play PAIN will be presented in Hollywood at the Nationally recognized, award-winning Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy, with two performances (3:00 pm and 7:00 pm) today, November 7th.
With a cast of 21 noted guest artists, guest alumni and current Theatre Academy students, Mr. Coates will direct his play, a series of interconnected monologues on the subject of pain, in the school's Caminito Theatre. Tickets will go on sale on the school's website two weeks prior to the performace - but one can also "pre-purchase" their tickets by going to the production's Indiegogo website and making a donation - your donation will guarantee you a seat.
As with the San Diego performance, the show will also offer an EXTREMELY limited number of VIP Experience Tickets, which include priority seating, a souvenir program, a pre-show reception and a post show PRIVATE after-party at the home of the playwright - catered by noted Los Angeles Chef Larry Monaco (cheflarrymonaco.com).
This will be the ONLY presentation of PAIN, before Coates and his producers mount PAIN NYC in late winter/early spring of next year.
LACC is located at 855 N. Vermont Avenue, with parking on Heliotrope, Lot 4 on the west side of the campus. There will be a reception between the shows, with cast, crew and creatives - from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm.
CAST: Mark Skeens, Persephone Laird, Helen O'Brien, Al Rossi, Christelle Baguidy, Bryson Jones Allman, Jessica Atkinson, Frank Salinas, Lisa Beezley-Lippman, April Audia, Rene Michelle Aranda, Brendan Broms, Bill Barker, Maria Rangel, Ben Rovner, Christopher Callen, Elizabeth Reilly, Megan Gomez, Michael MacRae & Fred Fate.
