Ophelia's Jump to Present ESPIRITU GITANO, 5/9
Beatrice Casagran (Founding Artistic Director) is pleased to announce a special event on May 9th from Ophelia's Jump Productions, ESPI?RITU GITANO, celebrating the flavor, music and passion of Spain featuring performances by some of LA's top Flamenco artists, musicians, singers and selections of the translated works of Federico Garcia Lorca.
This one night only event is a perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day Eve with tapas and sangria surrounded by the following performers for a truly immersive and unforgettable experience:
Marcela Aguayo (Flamenco Artist - Flamenco Loves Tango, Wilshire Ebell theatre)
Rosalina Castillo (Flamenco Artist - member of Sakaiflamenco, flamenco dance
company affiliated with the Los Angeles Music Center)
Santiago Diego Martin Prechtel (Guitarist/Singer - musical director of Naranjita
Flamenco)
Katherine Giaquinto (Soprano - LA Opera, Pacific Opera Project)
Vernon Snyder (Pianist/Educator - lecturer at California State Polytechnic
University, Pomona, and Music Director at the Claremont School of Theology)
This special event ticket of $35 includes the tapas selection, and a glass of sangria or non-alcoholic beverage. Additional wine will be available for purchase through donation.
